Sherwood Park Farmer’s Market – Volunteers Needed (New) (1)

The Sherwood Park Farmers’ Market (Outdoors) is looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to help out with the market booth and children’s market buds program.

The market takes place every Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at 3000 Emerald Drive (Canadian Tire parking lot Emerald Hills)

This position is expected to start in June 2025

Volunteer opportunities are open to youth ages 16+

The Canadian Cancer Society’s Wheels of Hope program is looking for more volunteer drivers to help residents in your community. If you, or someone you know, is looking to fill some time in your day, love to drive and want to support people with cancer, we encourage you to volunteer with Wheels of Hope. As a volunteer driver, you can give the gift of a ride to people with cancer who need help getting to and from their life-saving cancer treatments and other appointments. Mileage reimbursement or tax receipt is provided.

Dream Catcher – Tourism Volunteer (1)

Are you a creative, innovative, or artistic person?

Dreamcatcher™ Nature Assisted Therapy is looking for volunteers to join our Tourism Program!

From May-October, we host fun events for our community such as guided animal tours, a magical forest, and goat yoga!

However, this winter we are focusing on re-developing our program so that it is planned and ready to launch for the spring and make our vision come to life! Part of this involves building on our magical forest experience! This is perfect for those creative, artists, and designers!

Duties may include:

  • Brainstorming themes, activities, or other ideas to enhance the magical forest experience
  • Creating DIY projects, works of art, and signs while working with a set budget provided by Dreamcatcher™
  • Helping with designing & setting up the forest with the items we already have & with the new items created by you! (spring)
    Note: this position is hybrid, though most of it can be done remotely!

This is also great for volunteering with children or families!
