VOLUNTEERS needed to help make our community bloom!
The Strathcona in Bloom Society (SIB) endeavors to beautify Strathcona County and Sherwood Park through the efforts of volunteers and County staff. We encourage the efforts of private homeowners and businesses as they help with this work.
Do you enjoy gardening? Would you like to work with a group of like-minded folks who want to beautify the community? Do you have the time to plant and/or help maintain a flower bed in your neighborhood? Do you like coordinating the efforts of groups of volunteers?
Variety of Volunteer Opportunities available such as the following:
- Help plant and maintain a community flower bed
- Deliver nominations to neighbours as part of Front Yard Recognition
- Become a Director on the Strathcona in Bloom Board
- Deliver nominations to local businesses and non-profits as part of Public Spaces Recognition
- Participate in special events like Arbor Day and Canada Day, and Pitch in
