Volunteer Tax Preparers Needed – March and April of 2025
Help us ensure low-income community members can get the help they need to file their 2024 taxes!
Volunteer Strathcona, e4c’s Make Tax Time Pay program and the Strathcona County Library partner to host clinics where low-income community members can get their taxes filed by volunteers. Last year, we were not able to help everyone who came to the Saturday clinics in Sherwood Park.
For the upcoming tax season, we want to add extra clinics on a Tuesday evening in March and in April 2025 to help meet the need. In order to that we need more volunteers to make that happen!
Training is provided – all you need is a willingness to help and comfort with numbers and technology.
Volunteers need to sign up no later than December 15th to make sure there is enough time to get CRA approvals in place and training completed.
