NURTURING STRATHCONA’S MULTICULTURAL ECOSYSTEM: ROOTS, COMMON GROUND, NEW GROWTH

Celebrating Multicultural Strathcona invites you and your team to an afternoon of professional development, and community building.

Participants at this free event will gain insight into our county’s specific challenges and opportunities regarding intercultural relationships. We will learn how to make positive contributions toward more diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workplaces and communities.

We will be discussing:

? Understanding the deepening complexities of our cultural ties
? Cultural representation in art and public spaces
? Allyship: how to engage meaningfully across cultures

This panel presentation and table discussion is hosted by a coalition of five Strathcona nonprofit organizations and community groups: The Strathcona County Diversity Committee, The Strathcona County Museum and Archives, Volunteer Strathcona, Community Adult Learning and Literacy Society, and The Arts and Culture Council of Strathcona County, and is funded in part by the Government of Alberta.
