Are you looking to learn more about culture, diversity and inclusion within volunteer settings?
Join Volunteer Strathcona for a FREE workshop where we will explore intercultural diversity in volunteer settings.
The workshop will be presented by Catholic Social Services (who serve people of all faiths and no faith) and is funded by the Government of Alberta.
This workshop is not faith-based and open to volunteers in community organizations within Strathcona County.
In this workshop you will learn:
- Discussing, identifying and reflecting on identity and biases
- Creating a common understanding of what culture is and how it relates to some situations
- Exploring strategies to develop cultural competency
When: Wednesday, February 26, 2025
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Where: Strathcona County Community Centre (Room 2) – #401 Festival Lane Sherwood Park
